Most Holy Trinity Pro-Life Committee

The Most Holy Trinity Pro-Life Committee invites all parishioners to join us in helping to build a Culture of Life.

The committee seeks to promote Catholic teaching on life issues, based on the dignity and sanctity of each human being, from conception to natural death, and participates in prayer vigils, education initiatives and practical assistance to needy mothers and their newborn children.

If you would like to join our committee, please contact Brian Caulfied at 203.988.4856 or email at

those who generously gave gifts for the virtual shower event. The gifts ranged from everyday essentials such as diapers, baby wipes and baby food to elaborately packaged clothing sets, lovingly knitted blankets, and baby accessories. Your response was so impressive and overwhelming that two crisis pregnancy centers, Mary & Joseph’s Place in North Haven and Birthright of Meriden / Wallingford, benefited  from your gifts.

When the mothers in crisis pregnancies receive your gifts, they will know that people like you care about them and their babies.

There are millions of unborn babies at risk right now, today.

Through our prayers and efforts, we can help to lovingly serve

these miracles from God — by helping their parents to choose life.

Every single baby is a miracle of life — a sign of God’s perfect love.

Nearly 4,000 babies lose their lives to abortion each day in this country. It is these unknown babies we are being asked to “spiritually adopt” for the next nine months.

They are unborn babies at risk, who may never be given a chance to be carried to term and live out God’s plan for them.

Spiritual Adoption: How Does This Work?

  • During the weekend of April 27-28, you were given the chance to sign up, individually or as a family, to “adopt” an unborn child.
  • Participants in the program were given a name to that child and will pray for nine months for that child in the womb — a baby who is unknown to you, but known to God. Pray for the baby, the mother, the father. Pray for LIFE!
  • In the bulletin, there will be monthly reports describing the baby’s development, as well as special prayers, events, and activities we can do to support a greater respect for life at home and as a parish community.
  • It is never to late to begin to pray for an unborn baby, so give us a call! Join the MHT families who are already praying daily for these babies and be a part of our efforts to build a culture of life.
  • If you have any questions or like to join the program, please contact Lynn Wehner at 203.272.4431 ( or or Meg Bailey at 203.294.1768.
