We value your presence, as we are not solitary wayfarers on our journey to God.  Rather we see Christ in one another and we value our relationship with one another in our parish and throughout the world for we are brothers and sisters in Christ.

We value our union with our Holy Father, the Pope, which guarantees our union with one another in the Catholic Church today, and with our fellow believers of every age.  We see the Catholic Church, founded and sustained by Christ, as “the Reign of Christ already present in mystery.”            (Catechism #763)

We invite you to become a part of our parish family.

May the Most Holy Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Spirit bless you!

The parish welcomes all people into full participation of its liturgy and social activities.

To become a parishioner, please fill out a registration form found in all the entrances to the church or online and put it in an envelope with the offertory or drop it off at the Parish Office in the Rectory.  You can also send it to our email at

The church is accessible to people with disabilities via elevator located on the South side entrance.

The church hall is accessible via ramps on the North side entrance.

June 5-10, 2017

The Most Holy Trinity Bazaar Committee invites all parishioners to be part of our 47th Annual Most Holy Trinity Bazaar from June 5 to June 10, 2017.

Proverbs many hands make light work

There is so much to get accomplished before our opening day, Monday, June 6! We re hoping you will jump right in and help  in any way you can. Listed below are things on our "TO DO" list.

  • Get volunteers.  Please donate 2 hours of your time.  This will help immensely.  The long week seems grueling if not enough parishioners help lesson the burden.  It seems like the same volunteers help each year.  Bless their little hearts, some of them have been volunteering for 47 years now and are looking to "retire."
  • Get more volunteers.  Invite your friends and family to come volunteer with you.  You will make happy memories together.
  • Ask individuals to step up and learn the ropes - how the food booths run, the game booths run, ...etc - to basically learn some of the important functions of the Bazaar.

By stepping up and becoming a Holy Trinity Bazaar Volunteer, you will mix work and fun and also accomplish an integral fundraising task for Our Church.  Helping the Church and all of the good works Most Holy Trinity does warms the soul.

Everyone's help is needed to make this year's bazaar a success!  New ideas and new energy can only help our big event flourish and grow.  Please contact the parish office at 203-269-8791 for more information.  Thank you in advance!

Galatians 6:9 and let us not weary in well doing, for in due season we shall reap, if we do not faint

Corinthians 3:9 for we are laborers together with God; we are God's cultivation; we are God's building

Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 two are better than one, because that have good reward for their labor

God Bless You!

Music Ministry

Join the choir! Our 10:30 AM Adult Choir rehearses on Thursday evenings at 7:00 PM. Anyone with a singing voice is welcomed to join this amazing choir. Most Holy Trinity is so lucky to have a four-part singing group dedicated to leading the congregation in worship.

UNA VOCE [“One Voice”] - YOUTH CHOIR!

“ONE VOICE” is for young people, with unchanging voices. Boys and girls in the 4th through 8th grade are welcome. This unique group will explore chant, the musical history of our faith, and music to enrich their lives and our churches.Mark Neumann, our Music Director, has over 35 years experience working with young people. A fun learning environment should be expected. The group rehearses Thursdays from 5:30-6:30 PM and will sing at the 9 AM Mass, once a month. More information will follow. Contact Mark Neumann, 1-860-930-6823 with questions or for more information.

The Contemporary Choir sings once a month at the 9 a.m. Mass.  The hymns chosen are modern and familiar to most parishioners.  Anyone who likes to sing more contemporary hymns are invited to join.  If you play an instrument, speak to Mark Neumann, the choir director, to discuss how it can be utilized during Mass.  Rehearsals are at 5 p.m. the Saturday before the 9 a.m. Mass.  Contact Mark Neumann, 1-860-930-6823, with questions or for more information.

On Ash Wednesday, March 1, we begin the Solemn Season of Lent. Our Lenten Journey is a time when we take a serious look at our faith life and determine how we might grow stronger in faith and more aware of the presence of Jesus within ourselves and others. Lent is a forty-day liturgical season that initiates the most sacred part of the Christian year.

Lent is a time of conversion, a turning back to God, the Church and the Sacraments. A time of grace, given to all of us once again by Almighty God. In the words from the Prophet Joel in the reading for the Ash Wednesday Liturgy, “This is the acceptable time, this is the time of salvation”. This is the acceptable time to think seriously of where does God fit into my life, if He fits at all? A time of renewing our faith commitment and receiving the Sacrament of Reconciliation (confession).

As we begin this Solemn Lenten Journey, we invite you to join us as we walk through the days of Lent, Holy Week and celebrate Christ’s Resurrection on Easter.

  • ASH WEDNESDAY, March 1st and GOOD FRIDAY, April 14th:  These are days of Fast AND Abstinence.
  • DAYS OF FAST—There is a limit of one full meal on these days for all between the ages of 18 and 59 inclusive, for those who are not ill.
  • DAYS OF ABSTINENCE – All the Fridays of Lent. All who have reached their 14th year are bound to abstain totally from meat on the Fridays of Lent.
  • EASTER DUTY OBLIGATION – For those who have received their First Holy Communion, Catholics are bound by the obligation of receiving Holy Communion at least once a year. This precept should be fulfilled during the Easter Season. Catholics are also bound to confess serious (mortal) sins at least once a year, but this is not limited to the Lenten/Easter Season.

Sacred Paschal Triduum

Once the Mass of the Lord’s Supper begins on Holy Thursday evening, we enter into what is called the Sacred Paschal Triduum. It concludes with the celebration of Evening Prayer on Easter Sunday. The Triduum commemorates the passion, death and resurrection of Christ and is the solemn celebration of the events of our salvation and redemption. Within the Sacred Paschal Triduum we recall the institution of the Sacraments of the Most Holy Eucharist and Holy Orders.
Holy Thursday – Mass of the Lord’s Supper –
At this Mass we recall the first Mass when Jesus and the Apostles gathered to celebrate the Passover.  This was the night when Jesus gave us the sacred priesthood.

Good Friday – Celebration of the Lord’s Passion –
Other than the Office of Readings and Morning Prayer there is no Liturgical Service before noon.

Holy Saturday - Other than the prayer of the Liturgy of the Hours and Anointing those in the RCIA with the Oil of Catechumens, there is no liturgical celebration on Holy Saturday until the celebration of the Resurrection of the Lord, the Easter Vigil. The Easter Vigil is the most solemn Liturgy of the entire year. No Mass of Easter may be celebrated on Holy Saturday before the celebration of the Easter Vigil.

Habemus Papam!

"God's mercy can make even the driest land become a garden, can restore life to dry bones (cf. Ez 37:1-14). ... Let us be renewed by God's mercy, let us be loved by Jesus, let us enable the power of his love to transform our lives too; and let us become agents of this mercy, channels through which God can water the earth, protect all creation and make justice and peace flourish."

Message from Father Walsh
The Solemnity of Mary, Holy Mother of God - Sunday, January 01, 2017

I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who remembered me this Christmas with a gift or a special prayer. I would also like to thank everyone who gave a Christmas gift to the parish. Above all, I would like to thank Almighty God for the gift of our parish, our Catholic Church and our faith in Jesus Christ. May 2017 be filled with even more of God’s graces and blessings for each member of our parish family
